Lynnwood office of our client seeks an associate attorney with experience. The candidate will actively handle all aspects of a client?s case, including communicating with parties, drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and preparing for and attending hearings, mediations, and trials. Will be establishing positive and collaborative working relationships with clients, colleagues, and the courts. Effectively applying legal solutions to client?s issues. Clearly and empathetically communicating legal options to clients. Researching case law, drafting correspondence, and drafting and filing pleadings. Effectively representing clients at hearings, depositions, and trials. Consulting with and retaining new clients. Working with staff to accurately calendar all hearings, filing deadlines, and other key dates. Timely communication with the Managing Attorney and team members to continue developing skill sets and taking on more challenging legal issues. Ability to multitask on a variety of projects. Ability to work both independently & within a team environment. Take ownership of assignments and execute them timely. Must be able to practice Immigration, Personal Injury, and/or Family law. Should be licensed to practice law in Washington State.
