A law firm is seeking a Cybercrime Enforcement Attorney - Of Counsel with seven years of experience to support cybercrime and intellectual property enforcement work within the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have law firm experience and a background in civil litigation, preferably IP litigation, along with experience in internal, government, and IP enforcement investigations.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to cybercrime and intellectual property enforcement matters.
  • Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, and pleadings.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and arbitrations related to cybercrime and IP enforcement cases.
  • Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients on cybercrime and IP enforcement strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders on cybercrime and IP enforcement initiatives, including government agencies and law enforcement.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Washington State Bar is in good standing.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience practicing law, focusing on cybercrime and intellectual property enforcement.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal procedures about cybercrime and IP enforcement.
  • Experience in civil litigation, particularly in IP litigation, is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of handling internal, government, and IP enforcement investigations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
