Amazon is seeking an experienced Associate Corporate Counsel to join our Intellectual Property team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing trademark matters for multiple business segments in our product and content spaces. This is a full-time position based in one of our US locations: Arlington, VA; Culver City, CA; or Seattle, WA.

Key Responsibilities:

- Direct management of clearance, prosecution, maintenance and enforcement of US and foreign trademark portfolio
- Client counseling and licensing for trademark, copyright, and domain name issues
- Developing and implementing intellectual property protection policies
- Educating and coaching business teams on intellectual property matters

Qualifications:

- 2+ years of legal experience
- Juris Doctor degree and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Experience in private practice or in-house at a technology company
- Experience in web services/cloud computing, software licensing, or telecommunications preferred
- Mix of corporate law firm and in-house work experience a plus

Salary Information:

- Base pay ranges from $105,200/year in lowest geographic market to $195,700/year in highest geographic market
- Pay based on market location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
- Total compensation company with additional benefits such as equity, sign-on payments, and medical/financial benefits
