Duties:

  • Provide transactional and litigation support on a broad range of legal issues, including real estate transactions, leases, public contracting matters, construction procurement, disputes, and contract negotiations.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various substantive legal issues.
  • Draft legal documents, including contracts, leases, agreements, and pleadings.
  • Assist with negotiations and settlements.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and mediations.
  • Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on case strategy and client matters.
  • Manage caseload and deadlines effectively.
  • Maintain communication with clients and provide regular updates on case progress.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations related to business and facilities law.

 

Requirements:

  • Membership in the State Bar of California.
  • 5+ years of practice experience.
  • Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with real estate transactions, public contracting, and construction procurement preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Membership in the State Bar of California.
