Job Title: Tax Senior Manager - Business Tax Services - Investment Management - Private Wealth (Central Region Office Locations)

Salary Range: $119,490 to $238,680 (dependent on experience, skills, and geographic location)

Position Summary
- Seeking a leader and strategic thinker with extensive knowledge in multiple areas of taxation for the role of Tax Senior Manager in the Private Wealth Tax practice at Deloitte.
- Responsible for delivering compliance and consulting services to individual clients and their trusts, estates, family offices, investment vehicles, charitable pursuits, and closely-held business concerns.
- Must have a strong understanding and excitement for AGI & DNI.
- Recruitment for this role will end on June 1, 2025.

What You'll Do
- Perform high-level reviews of tax research and work papers related to individual, fiduciary, partnership, closely-held corporations, estate, and gift tax returns.
- Lead client meetings on compliance and consulting projects, providing solutions to complex tax issues.
- Train, mentor, and supervise new and experienced Tax Consultants and Tax Seniors.
- Take on lead client-contact roles, billing and profitability analysis, and be involved in marketplace eminence building and pursuits.

- Deloitte's Private Wealth team focuses on the specialized needs of the ultra-affluent, including families with multigenerational wealth, entrepreneurs, family offices, and closely-held business owners.
- Provides comprehensive, independent, and objective wealth transfer planning advice.
- Helps clients make informed decisions regarding their personal financial comfort, business and investment needs, family legacy, and charitable giving.

Qualifications
Required
- Must be able to work in a hybrid work model, co-locating in person 2-3 days per week.
- 8+ years of public accounting experience (at least 3 years in investment management) or equivalent in law firms or industry.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field.
- Active accreditation as a licensed CPA, attorney, enrolled agent, Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA), or Certified Financial Planner (CFP).
- Experience reviewing partnership and/or trust documents.
- Experience managing projects, including scheduling, budgeting, client correspondence, and billing.
- Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Preferred
- Advanced degree such as MST, MAcc, JD, or LLM.
- Prior Big 4 experience.
- Knowledge of fund accounting and general ledger accounting.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Excellent research and writing skills.
