The ideal candidate should possess experience in handling regulatory and compliance matters before the Texas Public Utility Commission and other state energy regulatory commissions. Additionally, expertise in matters related to the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) or other ISO/RTOs or organized power markets, as well as experience in advocacy before state utility commissions and involvement in power transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and power sales, would be highly beneficial.
