Job Overview: A law firm in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Litigation Associate Attorney to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in business litigation, exceptional academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, and be admitted to the California Bar. Duties:

  • Represent clients in various business litigation matters including contract disputes, business torts, intellectual property disputes, and employment litigation.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Assist with discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery requests, preparing for and conducting depositions, and managing document production.
  • Participate in settlement negotiations, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
  • Attend court hearings, arbitrations, and trials as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in business litigation.
  • Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California Bar.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proven ability to work independently and take initiative.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
