A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Medical Malpractice Defense Attorney with 1-2 years of civil litigation experience. The candidate must have Bar admission and will be responsible for defending medical malpractice cases on behalf of healthcare providers and institutions.

Duties:

• Defend medical malpractice cases on behalf of healthcare providers and institutions
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to medical malpractice laws and regulations
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and trials
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the case
• Develop case strategies and manage case deadlines
• Collaborate with colleagues and legal staff on case matters
• Stay updated on developments in medical malpractice law

Requirements:

• Bar Admission
• 1-2 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in defense
• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

Education and Certifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
