Ethics Counsel - WFH Flexible - Phoenix, AZ: Join our dynamic Legal Services team as an Ethics Counsel at a reputed firm in Phoenix, AZ. In this role, you will provide legal advice on the Rules of Professional Conduct, serve as staff advisor to the State Bar's Ethics Advisory Group, and conduct continuing legal education seminars. You will also serve as legal advisor to the Fee Arbitration program and provide general legal assistance as directed by the General Counsel. This position offers a competitive salary of $110,000 - $115,000 and excellent benefits including 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with employer match, and public service loan forgiveness.

Responsibilities:
- Serve in a leadership role for the State Bar's ethics functions
- Provide ethics advice and opinions to lawyers through the ethics hotline
- Conduct internal and external training on professional responsibility concerns
- Prepare written materials on legal services and ethics
- Provide general legal work as needed
- Assist in the review and appraisal of assigned support staff

Requirements:
- . degree and active member of the State Bar of Arizona in good standing
- Minimum of 7 years of practical legal experience, preferably in litigation in private practice or for a public government entity
- Thorough knowledge of the Rules of Professional Conduct and Supreme Court rules
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
- Strong public speaking skills
- Ability to define problems, collect data, and make valid conclusions
- High level of interpersonal skills and ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team
- Must maintain the highest ethical standards

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Member in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona
- Reliable transportation for potential travel within the state

Other:
- Regular attendance required, with occasional additional hours and weekend work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks and demands
- Physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, and using hands and arms
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively statewide
