Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in labor and employment law matters.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and memoranda.
  • Assist in all phases of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and court appearances.
  • Advise clients on employment policies, procedures, and compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and settlement discussions.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to achieve client objectives.

Requirements:

  • Admitted to the California Bar.
  • 1-10 years of experience in a law firm or in-house setting.
  • Preference for labor and employment experience, however general civil litigation experience is welcome.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California Bar.

Skills:

  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic advice.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
