Job Description:

- The Office of the Solicitor handles all legal work for DOI, with a focus on conservation and impacting millions of lives.
- Legal interns/externs will gain practical experience advising agencies on legal aspects of their mission and participating in complex civil litigation.
- Responsibilities may include legal research, drafting legal documents, and attending hearings and meetings.
- Native American candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Qualifications:

- Applicants must be students, including undergraduate students, public policy graduate students, and law students.
- All students must be in good academic standing and provide official documentation from their school.
- First-year, first-semester law students may apply after December 1 for internships the following summer.
