A law firm in San Diego, CA, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its team. The Associate Attorney will provide legal advice, conduct research, negotiate, and handle landlord-tenant law matters. Additionally, they will prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents, and represent clients before courts, administrative agencies, and other tribunals. Strong knowledge of Landlord Tenant Law and Family Law is essential, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong organization and time management abilities. Candidates must have a . degree from an ABA-accredited law school and be licensed to practice law in California.

 

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and representation in landlord-tenant law matters.
  • Conduct legal research to support case strategies and arguments.
  • Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, administrative hearings, and other tribunals.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain organized case files and documentation.
  • Stay updated on changes and developments in landlord-tenant law and family law.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar and license to practice law in California.
  • Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law and Family Law.
  • Experience providing legal advice, conducting research, and negotiating.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organization and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
