A law firm in Irvine, CA, is seeking an Associate Attorney with experience in family law. The candidate will be responsible for litigating family law matters, conducting legal research, attending depositions and hearings, drafting legal documents, and maintaining effective communication with clients and colleagues.

Duties:

• Litigate family law matters from start to finish, including courtroom experience.
• Develop family law cases by conducting thorough research on various legal issues.
• Attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
• Review, analyze, and draft legal documents with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Communicate with clients of varying levels of understanding, demonstrating knowledge and compassion.
• Maintain effective communication with outside attorneys, senior management, clients, and support staff.
• Track and manage billable hours, ensuring proper client and case management.

Requirements:

• California Bar license is required.
• Experience in family law is necessary.
• Certified Family Law Specialist (CFLS) or eligibility is a plus.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California.
