A law firm located in Seattle is seeking a Healthcare Associate Attorney with a strong interest in technology's role in healthcare and a passion for utilizing technology to influence the future of healthcare. The successful candidate will focus exclusively on digital health, providing legal representation to startups and founder-led companies at all stages, from pre-formation to capital markets.

 

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and guidance to digital health startups and founder-led companies on regulatory compliance issues.
  • Advise clients on corporate practice of medicine regulations and compliance.
  • Draft and review contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to digital health ventures, including licensing agreements, vendor contracts, and partnership agreements.
  • Conduct due diligence reviews for digital health transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and funding rounds.
  • Stay updated on developments in healthcare law, digital health regulations, and emerging technologies impacting the healthcare industry.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive legal support to clients in the digital health sector.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar and eligibility to practice law.
  • 3-7 years of experience in healthcare law with a focus on regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated interest in technology's role in healthcare and a commitment to leveraging technology to shape the future of healthcare.
  • Experience advising on the corporate practice of medicine regulations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.

  • Thorough understanding of healthcare laws and regulations.
