Job Overview: A law firm in Anaheim, CA, is seeking a Senior Litigation Attorney to oversee a full-time caseload from initiation to final disposition. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive legal services, formulate strategic plans, represent clients during various legal proceedings, and stay updated on relevant laws and statutes.

Job Details:

• Oversee full-time caseload from initiation to final disposition, ensuring smooth case progression
• Provide a broad spectrum of legal services from inception to settlement, including legal research, drafting motions, pleadings, orders, judgments, and status updates, along with managing and analyzing discovery processes
• Formulate strategic legal plans and advise clients on their optimal legal positions, serving as a secondary liaison between the firm and clients
• Represent clients during mediation, depositions, motions, trials, and hearings, advocating for their interests
• Conduct statement taking, evidence collection, and liaise with investigators or experts to strengthen case strategies
• Engage with clients, financial experts, attorneys, and other relevant parties to effectively advance case proceedings
• Negotiate settlements concerning both liability and damages to optimize client outcomes
• Accurately record time spent on cases using the firm's Case Management System (CMS) for precise billing and case tracking
• Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions
• Counsel associates to resolve or prevent conflicts
• Prepare for and attend trials, mediation, and arbitration hearings
• Stay updated on changing applicable laws and statutes on the local, state, and federal levels
• Attend court hearings on behalf of clients and argue motions

Requirements:

• Must be in good standing with the California Bar Association
• Proven success as a senior associate in a business litigation law firm is required
• Excellent time management and interpersonal skills are required, as well as persuasive writing and verbal communication skills
• Must have trial, mediation, and arbitration representation experience
• Bachelor's degree with a law degree from an accredited law school (such as an LLM, JSD, or . degree)
• 5-7 years of experience.
• Member of state and Local Bar Associations in good standing
• Able to work independently while handling multiple files
