Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive estate, gift, generation-skipping, and fiduciary income tax planning and drafting services.
  • Assist clients in structuring estate plans to minimize tax liabilities and achieve their wealth transfer objectives.
  • Analyze complex tax issues and propose strategic solutions to clients.
  • Prepare and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and tax professionals within the firm to address client needs effectively.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations relevant to estate planning.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service and advice.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top-tier law school.
  • Active license to practice law in California, or scheduled to take the California Bar exam with a reasonable expectation of passing.
  • LLM in tax is desired, but equivalent experience in estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning will be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning and drafting.
  • Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations related to estate planning.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top-tier law school.
  • Active license to practice law in California, or scheduled to take the California Bar exam.
