A law firm in Hillsboro, MO, is seeking an Associate Attorney with experience in family law and/or personal injury preferred. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and excellent client relationship skills. Duties:

• Provide legal representation to clients in family law and/or personal injury cases.
• Conduct client consultations, gather relevant information, and provide legal advice.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, agreements, and settlement proposals.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on case-specific issues.
• Prepare for and attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the legal process.
• Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients' interests.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff on case strategy and development.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Missouri State Bar or eligibility for admission.
• Experience in family law and/or personal injury preferred.
• Strong work ethic and dedication to providing excellent legal representation.
• Exceptional client relationship skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Adherence to ethical standards and confidentiality requirements.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
