A law firm in Irvine, CA, is currently seeking an Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of patent litigation experience at an AmLaw 100 firm. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in handling patent litigation matters and will be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents related to patent litigation cases
• Assist senior attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions
• Manage case files, including organizing documents and maintaining case calendars
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members
• Analyze patents and technical documents to provide strategic advice to clients
• Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes
• Stay updated on changes in patent law and relevant legal precedents
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervising attorneys

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of patent litigation experience at an AmLaw 100 firm
• Admission to the California State Bar or willingness to become admitted
• Strong academic credentials from a reputable law school
• Demonstrated proficiency in legal research and writing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented approach and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the California State Bar (or willingness to become admitted)
