As a Tax Manager in PwC's Global Information Reporting practice, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients and industries, providing guidance on complex tax issues and helping them comply with global tax information reporting rules. In this role, you will be responsible for researching and analyzing tax laws, developing solutions to complex issues, and managing a team to ensure client deliverables are completed accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Provide guidance to clients regarding compliance with global tax information reporting rules - Research complex tax issues and develop appropriate solutions for clients - Review and analyze US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) tax forms and related tax documentation - Prepare and file information returns and other tax forms - Develop technology solutions to increase efficiency - Train and manage staff and contribute to team development - Stay up-to-date on applicable tax rules and requirements - Participate in client discussions and meetings - Willingness to travel as necessary Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - 5+ years of experience in tax consulting or related field - CPA, Enrolled Agent, or Active Member of the Bar certification required - Familiarity with US tax laws and requirements, including IRS publications and tax form instructions - Knowledge of Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) requirements - Strong written, organizational, and verbal communication skills - Analytical and problem-solving abilities - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team - Willingness to travel as needed PwC's Global Information Reporting (GIR) practice helps clients comply with international tax information reporting and withholding tax requirements.
