A law firm in Newport Beach, CA, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate should be a member in good standing of the Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Oregon, or Washington State Bar, with a strong understanding of consumer credit collections and relevant state laws.

Job Details:

• Utilize the firm's case management and reporting software effectively to manage assigned matters.
• Attend court appearances and travel as necessary to represent clients.
• Possess a working knowledge of consumer credit collections, state laws, and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
• Preference for candidates with multi-state licensure.

Duties:

• Manage assigned legal matters using the firm's case management software.
• Make court appearances and handle associated travel requirements.
• Apply knowledge of consumer credit collections and relevant state laws in case management.
• Ensure compliance with the FDCPA and other relevant regulations.

Requirements:

• Member in good standing of the Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Oregon, or Washington State Bar.
• Strong understanding of consumer credit collections and relevant state laws.
• Ability to manage workload efficiently and effectively.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Oregon, or Washington State Bar.
