A law firm seeks a Family Law Associate Attorney for their Castle Rock, CO office. The Family Law Associate Attorney will assist with legal research, drafting legal documents, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in court. They will conduct legal research, draft and review legal documents, assist with negotiations and settlements, prepare for and represent clients in mediations, court hearings, and trials, collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies, maintain accurate case files, and provide legal administrative support as needed. The ideal candidate will possess proficient research and writing skills, have experience in family law, demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, maintain an organized approach to their work, and present a professional presence in all interactions. They must be admitted to the Colorado Bar with a current Supreme Court License and reside in the Castle Rock/South Denver Metro area or be willing to relocate.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research using Lexis-Nexis and/or Westlaw
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings and agreements
  • Assist with negotiations and settlements
  • Prepare for and represent clients in mediations, court hearings, and trials
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation
  • Provide legal administrative support as needed

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to the Colorado Bar with current Supreme Court License
  • 2-3 years of family law experience preferred

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

 

Certifications:

Admitted to the Colorado Bar with current Supreme Court License
