Phoenix office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks litigation attorney with 8-13 years of experience. The candidate will work closely with clients, other firm attorneys and legal support staff assisting in all phases of litigation representation. Will appear in court, arbitration, mediation or other judicial tribunal on behalf of the firm's client and present well-reasoned arguments. Appearances include both in-person, telephonic and virtual. Serve in case management including ability to manage case from beginning to end with minimal supervision. May assist or supervise other attorney(s) with case or project management. Develop and deliver case strategy. Perform and/or review litigation discovery or disclosure. Negotiate with other parties on contractual issues and legal disputes, including settlement conferences. Anticipate and mitigate potential legal problems for a client; develop strategies to avoid costly litigation and reduce potential areas of risk. May be responsible for client relationship. Use or be able to supervise e-discovery including litigation support software, trial preparation software, or on-line document repositories as required. Preparing for, taking and defending depositions. Attend client meetings, either in-person, virtually or telephonically. Synthesize legal research and analysis into legal documents including pleadings, motions and briefs. Should have high level of technical proficiency in legal software. Must have accurately document and account for billable time in Perfect Law (accounting database). Should have admittance to Arizona State Bar.
