Responsibilities:

- Conduct research and writing related to transferable tax credits on the state and federal level
- Participate in negotiations and transactions for transferable tax credits
- Calculate federal disaster zone, employer paid leave, and other tax credits
- Participate in negotiations for state and local incentives
- Conduct research and writing for location-based credits and incentives
- Complete documentation for compliance purposes
- Participate in business development activities
- Develop relationships within the firm and help grow external branding

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree required, with an emphasis in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
- Master’s degree in Taxation and/or JD with LLM in Tax preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of related tax experience required; public accounting experience preferred
- CPA, bar membership, or equivalent credential preferred
- Prior experience with state or federal credits and incentives programs preferred
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, and tax research skills required
- Excellent internal and external client service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
