Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance to multinational enterprises on business decisions, such as location, entity choice, supply chain optimization, and capital mobilization
- Advise clients on tax planning decisions at a global level, considering their tax risk profile, effective tax rate, and cash posture
- Structure tax aspects of private equity and strategic mergers, acquisitions, and IPOs, and draft tax opinions, memos, and Excel models
- Assist with tax provision preparation and compliance work for financial statements
- Guide clients on income tax treaty planning opportunities for cross-border investing and trading
- Provide tax services to alternative investment companies throughout all stages of the investment life cycle

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in international, mergers and acquisitions, and/or federal tax planning
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; masters in Taxation, JD, and/or LLM (with a concentration in tax) preferred
- Knowledge of international and domestic tax law provisions
- Strong research and writing skills, Excel modeling, and oral communication skills
- Ability to balance and lead multiple engagements, supervise and develop staff professionals, and maintain professionalism and client service
- Ability to develop and deepen client relationships and expand KPMG's presence in the local and global markets

Salary Range: $91,900 - $206,500 (varies by location)
