As an Associate Trial Attorney at Farmers, you will have the opportunity to represent clients in all areas of tort practice in Western Pennsylvania. Salary Information:

Job Title:

- Associate Trial Attorney - Western Pennsylvania

Experience Information:

- At least one year as an Attorney or comparable outside experience
- Paralegal, claims, or insurance experience helpful

Job Summary:

- Responsible for competent, ethical, and diligent representation of clients in all assigned cases
- Cases can involve all areas of tort practice
- Virtual position with in-person court appearances as required
- Comprehensive benefits package without the stress of billable hours
- Functionally supervises other attorneys when needed
- Consults with Claims Department on insurance policy questions and legal aspects of personal injury claims
- Keeps supervisor informed and updates computerized litigation support systems
- Performs other assigned functions

Education Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree required
- Law school degree and member in good standing of State Bar where position is located

Special Skill Requirement:

- Public speaking and ability to function in adversarial or confrontational situations
- Driving

Physical Requirements:

- Some physical activities may be required, including carrying and lifting up to 25 pounds, hearing, seeing, standing, and walking (including stairs and steps)
- Job duties normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment with some exposure to outside environmental conditions and travel via automobile and/or commercial transportation
