Job Overview:

The Plaintiff's Litigation Associate Attorney will primarily coordinate, schedule, and conduct depositions, hearings, and trial preparations. They will assist with drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, preparing pleadings, and providing overall trial support.

Duties:

  • Coordinate, schedule, and conduct depositions, hearings, and trial preparations.
  • Draft written discovery and discovery responses.
  • Prepare pleadings and notices.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support casework.
  • Draft motions.
  • If necessary, draft correspondence and other legal documents for Partner review and signature.
  • Interview and prepare witnesses and experts, as necessary, for pre-trial work.
  • Assist with overall trial preparation, including exhibits, lists, and trial binders.
  • Argue Law and Motion at hearings.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience required.
  • CA State Bar License.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • CA State Bar License.

Skills:

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in legal research and analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong attention to accuracy.
