  • Represent clients in administrative hearings, negotiations, and court proceedings as necessary.

  • Offer guidance and counsel to clients on matters related to litigation risk assessment, dispute resolution, and conflict management.

  • Keep abreast of changes in relevant laws and regulations to provide clients with up-to-date legal advice and strategies.

  • Maintain strong client relationships, providing clear and timely communication and ensuring client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Active membership in the California State Bar.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in public entity representation, with a focus on Education Law.

  • Knowledge of California's legal framework, regulations, and policies pertaining to public agencies and education.

  • Familiarity with local government operations and the unique challenges they face.

Education:
