A law firm in Denver is seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in analyzing insurance policies, drafting coverage opinions, and providing coverage recommendations. They will also be proficient in drafting legal documents, and conducting depositions, and have a strong background in litigating coverage matters. Job Duties: • Analyzing insurance policies to determine coverage and liability issues. • Drafting coverage opinions, reservations of rights, and disclaimers. • Providing coverage recommendations to clients based on policy analysis. • Drafting pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and other legal documents. • Conducting and defending depositions in insurance coverage disputes. Requirements: • Minimum of 10 years of experience counseling insurance companies and defending insurance coverage/bad faith lawsuits under commercial general liability policies. • Experience interpreting insurance policies, drafting coverage opinions, and litigating coverage matters concerning commercial general liability policies. • Superior legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills. • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in legal work. • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple cases effectively. • Excellent academic credentials from a reputable law school. Education and Certifications: • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. • Admission to the State Bar. Skills: • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proficiency in legal research and writing. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills. • Familiarity with relevant legal software and databases.
