A law firm is seeking an Attorney for its Atlanta, GA office. The ideal candidate must possess a high level of academic achievement, solid large law firm experience practicing real estate finance law, and superb writing and communication skills.

Job Overview:

The Attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel and representation to clients in real estate finance matters. They will handle transactions from inception through closing and post-closing, including secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice and representation to clients in real estate finance matters.
• Handle transactions on behalf of lenders from inception through closing and post-closing.
• Perform secondary market repurchase facility work and other exit strategies.
• Conduct asset management and workout experience as required.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• JD required.
• 5+ years of broad real estate finance experience.
• Solid large law firm experience practicing real estate finance law.
• Experience in loan origination work for large structured commercial real estate finance transactions, including mezzanine loans and preferred equity.
• Experience running transactions on behalf of lenders from inception through closing and post-closing.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
