Senior Counsel - Tort Litigation

Are you an experienced litigator looking to make an impact at the world's largest retailer? Walmart is seeking a Senior Counsel to join our Litigation team and advise business and leadership on legal rights, obligations, and risks related to tort litigation cases. In this role, you will develop mitigation strategies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate legal and business risk. You will also manage outside counsel and drive case strategy, making an impact on our company's overall success.

Responsibilities:

- Advise business and leadership on legal rights, obligations, and risks related to tort litigation cases
- Develop strategies for the company's tort litigation portfolio
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate legal and business risk
- Manage outside counsel and drive case strategy
- Review and edit court submissions
- Manage legal spend

Qualifications:

- Law degree from an accredited law school
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in law
- Licensed to practice law in at least one state
- Subject matter expert in tort litigation
- Experience going to trial in tort matters
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
