Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal counsel on corporate, commercial, privacy, and regulatory matters for CP & ESG's TeamMate products and services
- Structure, draft, negotiate, and manage all types of agreements, including customer, vendor, and partner agreements
- Keep business representatives and Managing Legal Counsel informed of significant legal developments
- Collaborate with Global Law and Compliance Department (GLCD) team members as needed
- Manage outside counsel in a cost-effective manner
- Drive consistency and standardization, promote knowledge sharing, and support technology automation
- Develop a deep understanding of CP & ESG's business, markets, products, customers, competitors, and regulatory environment
- Educate business teams on contract forms, best practices, common clause objections, and internal contract review and approval procedures
- Support GLCD's M&A, regulatory, employment, and litigation teams regarding CP & ESG TeamMate matters
- Perform other assignments as designated by leadership

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and . required
- Admitted to practice law in the state where assigned office is located
- 2-5 years of corporate/commercial legal experience
- Experience at a law firm and/or in-house preferred
- Strong legal acumen and analytical skills
- General understanding of privacy laws and regulations (or willingness to learn)
- Excellent legal drafting and negotiating skills
- Strong communication and change management abilities
- High integrity and ethical standards
- Proactive, energetic, and enthusiastic approach
- Ability to handle a substantial workload and multiple projects under time pressure
