A law firm is seeking a Plaintiff Trust and Estates Associate Attorney for their Denver, CO, location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the administration of complex estates and trusts, as well as providing tax and business succession planning services to sophisticated and high net-worth clients. Duties: • Research, analyze, and draft documents to implement estate and gift plans. • Prepare other gift and transaction documents related to planning structures. • Handle probate and trust administrations by Probate Code and Florida Trust Code. • Prepare and review Federal estate and gift tax returns. • Provide guidance on planning for family-owned businesses and life insurance structures. • Assist with charitable planning, including split-interest trusts and private foundations. Requirements: • 2 years of experience in plaintiff trust and estate law. • Strong understanding and experience with the Probate Code and Florida Trust Code. • Familiarity with Federal transfer tax rules and procedures. • Experience with planning for family-owned businesses and life insurance structures is preferred. • . degree preferred. • Admission to the CO Bar. Skills: • Excellent academic credentials. • Strong drafting skills and experience with the Interactive Legal Services drafting program are a plus. • Proficiency in research, writing, and communication. Education: • Juris Doctor (.) degree required. • . (Master of Laws) degree preferred.
