The Opportunity:
- Seeking a great lawyer to join the legal team
- Manage IP portfolio and technology policies
- Work closely with technology teams on IP expansion
- Advise product and technology teams on AI and data governance
- Negotiate SaaS agreements with vendors and partners
- Report directly to Chief Legal Officer
- Partner with executives and senior business and technology leaders

Responsibilities:
Manage the Company's IP Portfolio:
- Maintain global trademark portfolio
- Lead internal invention harvesting with technology team
- Manage patent preparation and prosecution
- Review and analyze patent applications and office actions
- Conduct training related to patents
- Support IP-related aspects of M&A and strategic transactions
- Analyze potential third party infringement and disputes

Lead Commercial Contracts for SaaS & Technology Partners:
- Negotiate SaaS contracts with third parties
- Support and coach product, engineering, and operations teams on IP and data-related issues

Provide Product Counsel to Various Business & Technology Teams:
- Work with product and engineering teams on AI and data governance
- Serve as a trusted advisor and business partner

Negotiate Commercial Contracts for US Business:
- Negotiate contracts with various vendors
- Advise business teams on risk and negotiating points
- Collaborate with leadership across the Company to close deals

Requirements:
- JD and bar admission in any US state
- 4+ years of professional experience
- Experience in intellectual property
- Solid understanding of commercial contract law
- Experience with reviewing cutting-edge technology products and services
- Desire to partner with product and engineering teams
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to build relationships and establish trust

Salary Information:
