Duties:

  • Conduct patent preparation and prosecution activities in the areas of electrical engineering, computer science, software-related technologies, data science/AI, networking technologies, and machine learning.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand and analyze inventions, providing legal advice and strategies for patent protection.
  • Draft and review patent applications, responses to office actions, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research to support intellectual property matters and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant patent preparation and prosecution experience.
  • Degree in electrical engineering or computer science.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) are required.
