Job Title: Tax Senior - National Federal Tax Services - Partnership Solutions Group
Experience: 2+ years in federal partnership tax
Salary Range: $77,070 to $175,500 (dependent on factors such as skills, experience, and location)

Position Summary:
- Seeking tax specialists frustrated with traditional tax compliance roles
- Opportunity to work with large-scaled operating partnership tax clients and improve computational software applications
- Passion for client consultation and technology a plus

Responsibilities:
- Work with large-scaled operating partnership tax clients
- Diversify industry experience by working with various industries such as private equity, healthcare, tech, and more
- Deliver value to clients experiencing public offerings and interact with external counsel, underwriters, and client executives
- Assist clients with public offering transactions and Up-C and SPAC structures
- Develop an understanding of public monetization transactional process
- Create cutting-edge technology for partnership tax, data analytics, and user experience
- Implement strategic tax structures and processes for clients
- Identify and solve complexities with . federal income tax impact of public offerings
- Participate in marketplace activities, recruiting, and process and technology innovation
- Identify service opportunities, manage client accounts, and advance Deloitte initiatives

The Team:
- National Federal Tax Services (NFTS) is a national practice within Deloitte Tax LLP
- NFTS service lines provide tax planning for the largest organizations across all industries
- The Operational Partnership Services (OPS) service line is a part of the Partnership Solutions Group within NFTS
- OPS professionals counsel privately-held and publicly-traded partnerships on a wide range of federal tax and issues
- Industries served include private equity, real estate, telecom, technology, healthcare, media & entertainment, energy, retail, and financial services

Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a hybrid model (in-person and remote)
- 2+ years of experience in federal partnership tax
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field
- Strong numerical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, and Visio
- Experience in a fast-paced, team environment
- Demonstrated research skills
- Self-starter with ability to handle multiple priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% (dependent on work and clients served)
- One of the following accreditations: CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, PMP, or CFA

Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree such as MST, JD, or LLM
- Previous experience at a Big 4 or large CPA firm
- Transaction and M&A experience
- Alteryx experience
