As an Insurance Tax Manager at PwC, you will be a part of our Financial Services Tax practice and help our clients navigate the complex and ever-changing tax landscape. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of problem solvers, providing strategic tax advice to our clients in the insurance industry. This role will require up to 20% travel and the ability to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

- Advise clients on local and international tax matters related to the insurance industry, including managing tax risks and implications of investing in different jurisdictions.
- Analyze complex ideas and proposals, and provide meaningful recommendations to clients.
- Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties involved.
- Develop a point of view on key global trends and their impact on clients.
- Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.
- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
- CPA or Member of the Bar certification required.
- 4+ years of experience in public accounting, internal domestic insurance tax departments, or internal foreign insurance departments.
- Thorough knowledge of tax issues affecting the insurance industry.
- Technical skills in FAS 109, FIN 48, tax provision preparation audit and review, and corporate and partnership tax compliance.
- Experience managing client relationships and communicating value propositions.
- Experience as a team leader, including supervising teams and providing feedback.
- Strong knowledge of automation and digitization in a professional services environment.
- Familiarity with CRM systems preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 20% and work remotely.
