Job Overview:

The Litigation And Tribal Associate Attorney will primarily focus on handling civil litigation matters with a specialization in tribal law. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional writing and research skills, critical and audacious thinking abilities, and strong oral advocacy. Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to civil litigation cases, particularly those involving tribal law issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and arbitrations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients.
• Maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, and the court throughout the litigation process.
• Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations impacting litigation and tribal law.

Requirements:

• State Bar licensure in Washington state or Oregon.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation or judicial clerkship.
• Proficiency in handling cases involving tribal law is highly desirable.
• Impeccable writing and research skills.
• Strong oral advocacy abilities.
• Exceptional critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated work ethic and tenacity.
• Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
