Job Title: Tax Analyst, Information Reporting and Withholding Location: Atlanta, GA, USA; Chicago, IL, USA Company: Google Department: Information Reporting and Withholding (IRW) Advisory Salary Range: $105,000-$154,000 + bonus + equity + benefits H1: Join the Google Tax Team as a Tax Analyst H2: Be a part of a dynamic team providing expert guidance and support in tax compliance Overview: - Google's in-house tax team is seeking a Tax Analyst with 4 years of experience in tax and information reporting. - The team is made up of knowledgeable and perceptive Googlers who specialize in domestic, international, and sales and use tax. - The Tax Analyst will work with professionalism, integrity, and transparency to provide advisory services to stakeholders. - This role offers the opportunity for professional development and continuous learning in a collaborative and supportive work environment. Responsibilities: - Serve as a subject-matter expert on Information Reporting and Withholding (IRW) requirements and provide guidance to business and product areas, tax operations, and engineers. - Advise on annual filing of information returns and periodic tax deposits, review monthly reconciliations of tax withholding GL accounts, and manage compliance with FATCA and CRS. - Research and respond to internal questions on tax information reporting and withholding rules and provide technical guidance on tax legislation. - Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with tax regulations and implement necessary changes. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. - 4 years of experience in tax and information reporting. - JD or Master's degree in Taxation or related field preferred. - Knowledge and experience with Information Reporting and Withholding tax. - Experience in a public accounting firm, law firm, government, or corporate tax department.
