The candidate will be responsible for handling all stages of estate planning and trust administration, client management, and advising on wealth transfer strategies for high-net-worth individuals.

 

Duties:

  • Handle all stages of estate planning and trust administration.
  • Manage client intake and maintain client relationships.
  • Draft, review, and modify estate planning documents, including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and advanced directives.
  • Advise on wealth transfer and asset protection strategies for high-net-worth clients.
  • Implement strategies for reducing estate, income, and property taxes.
  • Prepare and review technical memoranda for clients on estate tax issues.
  • Competently handle complex estate planning matters with minimal supervision.
  • Research various client issues, analyze options, and propose the best course of action.
  • Review and monitor the work of paralegals and legal assistants.
  • Experience with court appearances is a plus.
  • Corporate experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Foreign language skills are a plus.

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in trusts and estates planning.
  • Strong understanding of estate planning and trust administration.
  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California.
  • Experience in corporate law is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.

 

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
