Job Overview:

The ideal candidate should possess 5-7 years of experience in government investigations/white-collar defense. They should be driven and hard-working, passionate about defending individuals and companies in government and internal investigations, and have attention to detail. The candidate should be capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment managing complex, sensitive matters and sophisticated clients, including availability on some evenings/weekends. Experience as a federal judicial law clerk, in private practice, and as an Assistant US Attorney is strongly preferred.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents related to government investigations and white collar defense cases.
  • Represent clients in federal and state court proceedings, as well as before regulatory agencies.
  • Provide strategic counsel to clients regarding compliance and risk management.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and client representation.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Colorado State Bar, or ability to become admitted promptly.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in government investigations/white-collar defense.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Colorado State Bar, or ability to become admitted promptly.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Experience with electronic discovery and document management systems preferred.
