Salary Information: $63,420 - $126,620 per year

Job Title: Tax Senior, Private Wealth

Position Summary:
- Seeking a leader and strategic thinker with extensive first-hand knowledge in multiple areas of taxation
- Responsible for delivering compliance and consulting services to individual clients and their trusts, estates, family offices, investment vehicles, charitable pursuits, and closely-held business concerns
- Must excel at providing solutions to complex tax issues and have a strong understanding of AGI & DNI

Responsibilities:
- Perform high-level reviews of tax research for individual, fiduciary, partnership, closely-held corporations, estate, and gift work papers and tax returns
- Prepare for and assist in client meetings on compliance and consulting projects related to tax planning opportunities and the tax implications of transactions for the client

The Team:
- Deloitte Tax LLP's Private Wealth team focuses on the specialized needs of the ultra-affluent, including families with multigenerational wealth, entrepreneurs, family offices, and closely-held business owners
- Provides comprehensive, independent, and objective wealth transfer planning advice
- Helps clients make strategic decisions regarding their personal financial comfort, business and investment needs, family legacy, and charitable giving

Qualifications:
Required:
- Ability to work within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week
- 3+ years of experience providing tax planning services or preparing and reviewing client work papers and income tax returns
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field
- Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA or licensed attorney, enrolled agent, or certified financial advisor/ certified financial planner
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on work and clients served

Preferred:
- Advanced degree such as MST, MAcc, JD, or LLM
- Prior experience at a Big 4 firm
- Experience reviewing partnership and/or trust documents
- Project management experience, including scheduling, budgeting, client correspondence, and billing
- Strong technology, research, and writing skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and communication skills to articulate conclusions, planning opportunities, and risks identified through research projects
