As a Manager in the State and Local Tax (SALT) department at PwC, you will have the opportunity to help clients navigate complex tax laws and regulations, identify opportunities for tax savings, and effectively communicate with local tax authorities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a minimum of 4 years of experience. A CPA or other relevant certification is required, and a Master's degree in Taxation or Political Science is preferred. Candidates should have a thorough knowledge of state and local tax laws and technical skills in areas such as FAS 109, unitary filing, and tax research.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in state and local tax

- Thorough knowledge of state and local tax laws
- Technical skills in areas such as FAS 109, unitary filing, and tax research
- Familiarity with automation and digitization in a professional services environment
- Strong communication and leadership skills

- Ability to work with large, complex data sets and utilize data visualization tools
- Familiarity with alternative fee arrangements and pricing strategies
