We are currently seeking a skilled Attorney III to join our House Counsel team, representing Mercury and/or their insured in complex personal injury lawsuits. This is a full-time, remote position with in-person litigation appearances required in the Southern or Northern California areas. Our ideal candidate has at least 10-15 years of insurance defense experience and is admitted to the Bar in the state(s) where practicing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide legal representation to Mercury and/or their insured in complex personal injury lawsuits
- Manage cases from initial stages through trial, developing and implementing strategies with collaboration from claims partners and clients
- Direct legal support staff in daily operations to ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned work
- Conduct depositions, investigate and research cases, and evaluate for settlement, arbitration, and trial
- Effectively communicate and negotiate on behalf of clients and the company in litigation proceedings
