- The salary range for this position is $110,084 to $203,936.
- The ideal candidate will have a law degree and be admitted to the bar in the state(s) where they will be practicing.
- They should also have 5-10 years of experience defending First Party Property/Homeowner claims and cases, including EUOs, appraisals, and lawsuits.
- This role will involve providing legal representation to the company in various legal proceedings, including court appearances, depositions, and trials.
- The attorney may also be responsible for mentoring less experienced attorneys and completing other tasks as necessary.
- Some essential job functions include reviewing new file assignments, summarizing discovery responses, and taking and defending depositions.
- The attorney must have comprehensive knowledge of insurance, coverage, evidence, and civil procedure, as well as First Party Property EUOs and appraisal processes.
- Effective communication, writing, and analytical skills are also necessary for this role.
