Duties:

  • Represent clients in commercial litigation matters, including but not limited to breach of contract, business torts, and IP disputes.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Manage discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, conducting depositions, and managing document reviews.
  • Develop case strategies and provide sound legal advice to clients.
  • Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Utah State Bar, with eligibility for admission to the . District Court for the District of Utah.
  • Experience practicing commercial litigation, preferably with a focus on IP litigation.
  • Strong understanding of civil procedure, evidence, and substantive law related to commercial and IP litigation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Utah State Bar.
  • Additional certifications related to commercial or IP litigation are a plus.
