Job Title: Litigation Of Counsel

Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a Litigation Of Counsel to join their team in Wilmington, DE. The primary responsibilities of this role include communicating with clients, supervising associates, working with experts, assisting with fact development and depositions, and reviewing and drafting legal documents.

Duties:

  • Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Supervise associates and provide guidance on legal matters.
  • Work with experts to gather evidence and develop case strategies.
  • Assist in fact development and deposition preparation.
  • Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
  • Develop and implement case strategies.
  • Produce high-quality work products within designated deadlines.
  • Foster positive work relationships within the firm and with clients.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in both physical and sedentary activities as required by the job.

Requirements:

  • . degree and bar admission.
  • 8+ years of litigation experience, preferably gained at an AmLaw 100 firm.
  • Experience in product liability and/or complex commercial litigation.
  • Background in science (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) is essential.
  • Superior research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical and medical device industry clients is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional multitasking and prioritization abilities.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Transferable skills and academic backgrounds from nationally recognized schools.

Education and Certifications:

  • . degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
