A law firm is seeking a Trial and Litigation Associate Attorney for their Oakland office. The Trial and Litigation Associate Attorney will provide clients with high-quality legal services in rapidly evolving areas of the law. They will be responsible for crafting litigation strategies in complex situations, presenting constitutional arguments persuasively, and managing complex cases effectively. The ideal candidate will have superior research and writing skills, excellent academic credentials, outstanding analytical and creative thinking capabilities, and a strong work ethic.

 

Duties:

  • Craft litigation strategy in complex situations
  • Present nuanced constitutional arguments in a clear and persuasive fashion
  • Manage complex cases effectively, including electronic discovery and law and motion practice in state and federal court
  • Build a case for trial, including developing evidence, interviewing witnesses, and taking and defending depositions
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve successful outcomes for clients

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
  • 4-7 years of litigation experience in a collaborative team environment
  • Significant experience with complex case management and electronic discovery
  • Experience with law and motion practice in state and federal court, including dispositive motions
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Outstanding analytical and creative thinking capabilities
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
