The ideal candidate will possess strong academic credentials from nationally recognized schools and preferably have experience with class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation. Superior writing, research, and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.

 

Duties:

  • Handle class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, and consumer litigation matters.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables, answer phone calls, and respond to correspondence promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure timely completion of tasks, meeting deadlines and expectations as required.
  • Foster positive work relationships within the firm and with external parties.
  • Comply with all firm policies and practices.
  • Engage in physical and sedentary activities, including extended computer work, virtual conference calls, and meetings as needed.
  • Perform any additional duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
  • Strong academic background from nationally recognized schools.
  • Previous federal clerkship is a plus.
  • Experience with class action defense, complex commercial litigation, securities, or consumer litigation preferred.
  • Superior writing skills.
  • Ability to navigate and take ownership of a multi-matter docket.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in legal research and analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
