Position Title:

Position Summary:

- Strategic and creative federal tax professional needed for Deloitte's Business Tax Services practice in the Central Region office locations.
- Responsibilities include solving complex federal tax issues, providing federal tax compliance and consulting services to large global and dynamic midsize clients, and recruiting for this role which ends on May 31st, 2025.

Responsibilities:

- Perform detailed technical review of partnership, corporate, and individual federal tax returns and related work papers.
- Coordinate with client's tax and finance departments on tax planning and compliance data gathering.
- Review income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740.
- Research federal tax legislation to understand impact on compliance and consulting.
- Assist with various tax consulting projects, including research and writing related to federal tax planning, restructuring, controversy, and accounting for income taxes.
- Assist with engagement workflow management and supervise tax consultants and interns.
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within hybrid work model.
- Ability to travel up to 25% on average.

Qualifications:
