A law firm seeks an experienced Cybercrime Enforcement Attorney - Of Counsel to support cybercrime and intellectual property enforcement work within its Commercial Litigation Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in civil litigation, particularly in IP litigation, and conducting internal, government, and IP enforcement investigations.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation in cybercrime and intellectual property enforcement matters.
  • Conduct research and analysis of relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents.
  • Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
  • Collaborate with clients, attorneys, and investigators to develop case strategies.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, hearings, and court proceedings.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Virginia State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience practicing law, preferably in civil litigation and intellectual property.
  • Demonstrated experience in cybercrime enforcement and IP litigation.
  • Strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations, including cybersecurity and intellectual property laws.

Certifications:

  • Certification in Cybersecurity Law or related field (preferred but not required).

Skills:

  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
